Latina Law & Order IV

PART Houston was proud to honor the first Latina Captain of the Houston Police Dept on Oct 4th.  Capt. Cantu headed two teams that went to our Sister Territory of Puerto Rico to aid their police force after Hurricane Maria. Ivette Mayo, owner of Yo Soy I am, served as the emcee of the night and many of Captain Cantu’s fellow officers attended in support of her. Students from Sam Rayburn High School and Austin High School (her alma mater) were present and Capt Cantu was able to speak with them as a group. A great time was had by all.
