Women’s History Month 2018

Women have been active participants in the City of Houston since its founding. Starting with Charlotte Allen, women have played important roles to make Houston what it is today. News, Arts, Politics, Education and so much more.

This year we decided to celebrate Women’s History Month in a very fun and inspiring way. During the month of March, PART Houston underwrote free tickets to Mister McKinney’s Historic Houston HOUSTON Women’s History Tour. Watch the video below and join us next time.

Evening with the Houston Symphony

On Wednesday, February 21st around 100 guests gathered at The Magnolia Hotel in Downtown Houston for a very special cultural event.  Allegro, an intimate concert with Houston Symphony’s community-embedded musicians was born through a partnership with the Houston Symphony’s Hispanic Leadership Council featuring musicians Rainel Joubert, violin, David Connor, double bass.

The concert featured classical works and musical selections from the Americas in honor of Pan American art and culture. The event began with an hour of cocktails and light bites, followed by opening remarks by Musical Ambassador Carlos Andrés Botero.

Proceeds from the event benefited the PART Houston Scholarship Fund.
